Course Details
Our CIW Foundations & Web Design Specialist course will teach you how to design and publish websites. The course has been designed by experts to give you ‘real-world’ training so you can master the web.
Successful completion of the CIW Foundations & Web Design Specialist course will open up a whole new avenue of career opportunities. You no longer have to dream about applying for positions such as a site designer and webmaster graphic designer amongst others.
Furthermore, the CIW Web Associate certification satisfies the requirements for progressing onto additional CIW certifications such as the Master CIW Designer, Master CIW website Manager and CIW Certified Instructor.
The Site Designer course is put together in a manner to assist you in fast tracking your career by teaching you the necessary skills required to design and publish websites critical to corporations. The course will provide you with a perfect balance of theory, technology, management and hands-on experience.
The course will teach you about Web browsers, FTP, email, infrastructure networking and how to use Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).
*Please note: previous experience of using Microsoft Windows XP operating System is required.

- CIW Foundations resulting in CIW Associate Certificate
- CIW Web Design Specialist resulting in CIW Specialist Certificate

Study Details
During your studies you will complete a total of 61 assignments. On completion of each assignment you should send the assignment to your personal tutor for assessment. Completing the assignments provides both you and your tutor with details of your progress and assists the tutor in providing feedback and assistance.
In order to complete the CIW Foundations & Web Design Specialist course you are required to sit the following exams:
- CIW Foundations resulting in CIW Associate Certificate
- CIW Web Design Specialist resulting in CIW Specialist Certificate
